The Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon is one of the UK’s most heartwarming races. Inspired by rugby legend Rob Burrow and his fight against motor neurone disease, this marathon combines community spirit with a challenging and scenic course.
Starting and finishing at Headingley Stadium, the route showcases the best of Leeds, from city streets to stunning countryside views. It’s an emotional, inspiring event that has quickly become a must-do in the UK marathon calendar.

Regularly voted one of the UK’s best marathons, the MBNA Chester Marathon is loved for its friendly atmosphere, well-organised event village, and picturesque route. Starting at Chester Racecourse, the course takes in the city’s historic landmarks before heading into the Cheshire countryside and even crossing briefly into Wales.

The Yorkshire Marathon is a true Northern classic. Starting at the University of York, the route winds past York Minster, along the ancient city walls, and through pretty Yorkshire villages before looping back for a big finish at the University.
