Running solo can sometimes feel a bit monotonous, especially when you’re hitting those long miles. Whether you’re training for a marathon, tackling trails, or just enjoying a breezy 5K, keeping your mind engaged is key. This is where podcasts come in!
Here are some of my favourite non-running podcasts that make long runs, treadmill sessions, or early morning jogs way more entertaining:

HELP! I Sexted My Boss
Hilarious and completely relatable, William Hanson and Jordan North tackle the challenges of modern life with witty insights into everyday dilemmas. Their contrasting personalities – one posh, one common – make for a brilliant listen. Just watch out on the treadmill, you might fall off laughing!

40ish
My latest fave! Hosted by Lauren Mishcon and Nicole Goodman, the creators of Self Care Club. Two 40-something women set out to make the podcast they couldn’t find: honest, hilarious, and totally relatable for midlife. From juggling teens, aging parents, and career changes to hormones and everyday chaos, they tackle the absurdities of aging with laughs, rants, and candid conversations. It’s the podcast midlifers deserve – funny, real, and a little bit survivalist.
