Stick a wellness label on anything and I’m there – so when I saw Rachel from North Studio advertising her latest North Studio x Weetons Wellness Reset, you bet I booked myself a place straight away.
The event was in collaboration with Weetons, the boujee farm shop – the Daylesford of the North, if you like. Founded 20 years ago in Harrogate by visionary farmers passionate about showcasing the region’s finest local produce, Weetons opened its new flagship store on Leeds Road in 2024. It’s a seriously stunning spot and made the perfect backdrop for a wellness day. Calm, stylish, and peaceful, with a food hall that’s full of temptation and a home and garden section you’ll want to move into.
The reset I didn’t know I needed
After a busy few weeks, the retreat was exactly what I needed. Three glorious hours of movement, breathwork, and proper nourishment. Pilates was led by Sarah, who guided us through a gentle yet strengthening mat session — perfect for all levels. Then it was time for a quick break and a green juice (the jury’s still out on that one, I’m definitely more of a coffee girl) before heading into a breathwork session led by Melissa.
I’ve recently been using some of Melissa’s breathwork techniques in my own daily routine and have found them so beneficial – whether it’s for switching off at night or just calming my mind during a hectic day. Her session was calming, grounding and came at just the right time.

The Ice plunge moment
Then came the bit we’d all been low-key dreading – the ice plunge. Honestly, it was cold, but so invigorating and such a powerful way to reconnect with your body and breath. I’m weirdly proud of myself for doing it and I may well be an ice bath convert. Doing it as a group made it even more empowering. There was such a sense of shared energy and encouragement.
We ended the retreat with a selection of chef-prepared healthy snacks, herbal teas, and a good old chat in the sunshine. It was such a relaxed, feel-good way to round off the morning.

All of this for just £60, including a goodie bag – such great value for an uplifting wellness experience.
If you’re in Harrogate or Leeds, I can’t recommend North Studio enough. I recently tried one of their reformer classes too and it was fantastic – welcoming, inclusive and no intimidating vibes you can sometimes get at fitness studios. You’ll feel right at home.
If you’re looking for a way to reset, refresh, and indulge in some proper self-care, this is definitely the event to book. The next retreat is happening on Saturday 20 September so click here to book your spot before it fills up!
Trust me, you’ll leave feeling refreshed, recharged, and ready to take on whatever’s next.
