If you’re trying to eat a more balanced diet or boost your protein intake without spending hours meal-prepping or endlessly Googling macro-friendly recipes, The Gym Kitchen might just be your new best friend.
I was kindly sent a selection of their products to try out, and I’ve got to say, I’ve been seriously impressed. From tasty chilled meals to cupboard staples and wraps, The Gym Kitchen makes it so much easier to eat well, even on your busiest days.
Why I Love The Gym Kitchen
We all know how tricky it can be to eat a balanced, high-protein diet when life is full-on. Work, workouts, family, social life… the struggle is real. That’s where The Gym Kitchen comes in.
Their meals and ingredients are not only packed with protein, but they’re also genuinely tasty and quick to prepare. They make it so easy to build meals your way – from speedy lunches to grab-and-go breakfasts that feel like a treat.

What I Tried From The Gym Kitchen
- Lentil and Grain Pouches Quick, tasty, and packed with fibre and protein. The Moroccan lentils and Piri Piri grains were my favourite – perfect as a base for meals when you don’t want to overthink it.
- Chicken Sausages Lower in fat than traditional sausages and ideal for breakfast, brunch, or throwing into a midweek dinner. I’ve shared a couple of recipe ideas below.
- Wraps High in protein and great for work lunches on a busy week.
- Chilled Meals I tried the Piri Piri Chicken, Chicken Paella, and Meat Feast Pasta – all high in protein and ideal for taking to work or keeping in the fridge for those evenings when you just can’t be bothered. The Piri Piri Chicken was full of flavour and didn’t taste like a typical microwave meal.
- Pancakes These protein pancakes were such a treat – ready to eat and perfect for a post-gym snack. I added fruit and yoghurt to really level them up!
- The Gym Kitchen High Protein Yogurt I’m a sucker for anything cherry bakewell flavoured, and this yoghurt was devine – creamy, fruity, and high in protein.
