I’ve made no secret of the fact that I love shopping, more importantly, I love online shopping. So much so, I’m even on first name terms with my parcel delivery guy. It’s easier and more convenient, plus there are no queues, no searching for parking spaces and no looking for change for the parking meter. (You can even do it in your pyjamas).
Last week online shoe retailer Footway got in touch and asked if I would like to collaborate with them. I hadn’t heard of them before but after a quick look around their site and asking a few questions which were speedily answered by the team I agreed to it.
Footway is a Swedish company who have been selling shoes online since 2010. They have online stores in 11 European countries and pride themselves on fast shipping and a fab shopping experience.
So how did I get on?
The ordering process
I was allowed to pick out a pair of shoes to see how the ordering process works. It’s really easy, I clicked on ladies, selected my size and ticked the brands I was interested in. They stock an extensive range so it took a bit of narrowing down. As expected I went straight to the trainers and I decided on a pair of Nike Flyknit Lunar 3.
I placed my order on Thursday and they arrived on Tuesday. Tracking information is provided for orders so I was kept up to date on their whereabouts by DHL. I was impressed at the speed of delivery considering they were coming from Sweden and we had the weekend in the middle.
They arrived in a bright purple branded bag – there was no mistaking what was inside. I could see the delivery guy looking at the parcel thinking ‘she’s ordered more shoes?’
Did they fit?
I’ve worn Nike before so knew my size – they fitted perfectly.
Returns (just in case)
Unless you’ve owned the item before it’s always a bit of gamble with sizes and fit. Before any online purchase, I always check the returns policy. The Footway return process is easy. You can return an item within 30 days – just print a free return label from their website.
