In an attempt to keep active this December (and balance out all those Celebrations I intend on eating) I’ve signed up for the advert running challenge Run up to Christmas.

Run up to Christmas is a virtual run, so you can take part wherever you live, in your own time, whilst being a part of a great online social community.

You simply run as many miles as you wish from 1st -25th December. There are 5 milestones you can reach: 50km / 100km / 150km / 200km or a whopping 250km. You can do this as a solo entry or you can grab a few of your running buddies and enter as part of a group.

You don’t need to run every day, you simply run as much as you can to achieve a monthly goal.  All you need to do is track your mileage through whatever running site you use and after 25 days send a link to the site so your mileage can be verified. If you’ve hit one of the 5 milestones you get a festive medal. There’s also the chance to win prizes throughout the month  – just to keep you super motivated.

This virtual run supports the mental health charity Mind so it would be great if as many people as possible could take part.

I’ve never done a virtual run before so I’m excited to see how I get on. It’ll be a great way to keep up my exercise routine and keep me motivated in the run-up to Christmas.

If you fancy joining me (virtually) click here to sign up. Follow me on Instagram to see how I get on!

I have been nominated for the best personal blog at the 2019 Running Awards. If you could take a few moments and vote for me I would be eternally grateful 😍
